Hi everyone,
I have this seemingly simple problem, and I feel very embarassed for asking this, but I've searched the internet off and on for months but couldn't find a solution that works for excel for mac, which is what I use. Basically, I just need to know a shortcut to clear excel filters that works for Macs. I usually do Control + Shift + L to activate or to turn on the filters, but how do I clear the filters after I have turned some filters on without having to do Control + Shift+ L again to turn them off and then on again?
So I searched the internet and they recommended the following:
Alt + C: I get this character ç in one of my cells where I had initially placed the cursor instead
Alt + down arrow + C: I also get the same character ç in one of the rows
Alt + A + C: I get this character åç in one of the rows where I had placed the cursor
As you can see, none of these suggestions worked. I would think something like this would require a 5 minute googling but that didn't happen. I am reticent to use Control + Shift + L just to clear the filters because for some reason, when I use this too many times, excel would freeze and crash. It's a very erratic behavior, and so I'm trying to use this shortcut as infrequent as possible.
Thank you for your time,
Anita
