type to fill from drop down

I have a dropdown of approx. 2000 multi word items listed in sheet two- some have the same first word- in sheet one, when I get to that drop down cell, I would like it to populate as I type.. I know that I can list and hide the drop down items in sheet one in the same column as my drop down, but it doesn't auto pull 100% of the time (and I don't know why) so was looking for another answer.. Any suggestions?
