Identifying rising values and finding the difference between adjacent cells.

I have two columns. A and B. I'm trying to find at least three rising consecutive values (A5<A6<A7) with the following value being less than the last of the series (A7>A8). Then I would like to find the difference between adjacent Cells (A7-B8). What is the most efficient way to perform this task? I've attached an Excel spreadsheet that highlights the pattern I am inferring to. I've also attached a color coded copy of the spreadsheet to help better illustrate what I want.
