Referencing Source Workbook That Has Userform Autolaunch

Hey folks,

I have a bit of an odd one and I was hoping someone could provide a little insight.

I am attempting to compile statistics for my organization and require one workbook to reference approximately 3 source workbooks. It appears as though 2 of the 3 workbooks references work just fine, but for some reason every time the third one is referenced, Excel detects a problem with the source which it attempts to repair. The repair that Excel conducts results in a complete removal of the formula, and it replaces this formula with a "0".

The only difference between workbook 3 and workbooks 1 & 2 is that workbook 3 has a Userform that launches automatically when the workbook is opened.

I cannot think of any other reason why this is happening, and I cannot find any content in any forum that relates to this kind of issue.

Any advice or tips anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I found the solution to this as well. It had to do with the name of the folder that the reference workbook was located in. The name contained brackets [], and this caused an issue with the formulas
