    VLOOKUP / index+match / with multiple criteria

    Hi

    Im very beginner with excel. I got a task with need help. I read forums now several days but I cannt got any solution yet. Try Vlookup index match formulas but always run into walls.

    I need result for the B column. I already fill the B how it have to be look like and write the criteria into the excel.
    Thanks in advance If any help I can get.

    I think the conditions is wrong. For 3rd line. C <= D in that row where is last X is 2nd row and in the 3rd row "ABC 123" value is 2nd again.

    Maybe I wasnt clear and exact enough sorry. 3th "ABC 123" is Y in the B column because C3<=D2 / where last X / is.

    This proposal requires that the data be shifted down one row. Once that is done the following formula replicates the original values with one exception (row 9):
