    Question Conditional formating two colour

    Dear Master all,

I want to use a conditional formatting formula with 2 colors and for a blank table it matches the color of the table style and the results I want are in column F. Please help and I want the formula without the help column.

    Thanks you

    Re: Conditional formating two colour

Not following this. Why are the colors either gray or green? I thought you were referencing the banding of the table in A, but F15:F17 does not follow that logic.

    More description please!

Edit: The pattern I see is Odd and Even. Is this what you are after?

    Re: Conditional formating two colour

    How about for grey use
    =AND($A3<>"",MOD(SUMPRODUCT(--($A$2:$A2<>$A$3:$A3)),2)=0)
    and for green use
    =AND($A3<>"",MOD(SUMPRODUCT(--($A$2:$A2<>$A$3:$A3)),2)=1)

    Re: Conditional formating two colour

So in column F is the result that I want. So, I chose a different color from the number from this pnm column if the pnm number repeats it then takes the previous color and then the new number then the color is different from the previous row.

    Re: Conditional formating two colour

Please explain why the two rows flagged as wrong, are wrong.
The fill colour changes on every value in col A which is what you have shown in col F.

    Re: Conditional formating two colour

    Okay I explain :

    PNM ROW COLOUR REMARK
    GSSI11910002 A4 GREEN
    GSSI11910003 A5 GREY
GSSI11910002 A27 GREY previous follow results so the results should be green
GSSI11910003 A28 GREEN previous follow results so the results should be grey

    Re: Conditional formating two colour

If you want the row colour to change on each change in value unless that value appears earlier in the list, then I cannot help any further as I don't know how to do that.
