Data Advanced Filter failing on one outcome

On a spreadsheet I have a column where entries are duplicated in a list, each day over a month and have a corresponding column with a value.

I have been trying to use the Advanced Sort/Filter option to look at the list and then create a list that does not contain duplicates. For some reason this is working great apart from one entry. I have checked and the listing are identical and only happens for that one bit of text.
Its listed many times in my original large list and when i create the new list without duplicates, it then lists it twice.

The advanced filter must be setup and working fine for it to not be an issue with out texts. Im very confused

Ive uploaded the spreadsheet, in the Unique List, i sorted everything into sequence which allowed me to find why my grand total was wrong and the duplicate.

Excel provides an option to remove duplicates.
Go to DATA TAB >> REMOVE DUPLICATES (Data Tools Section)

Select the entire column and apply remove duplicates.. you will have your desired result.

There are 231 unique items in your list. To list these, use

In Cell B2
=IFERROR(LOOKUP(2,1/(COUNTIF(B$1:B1,$A$2:$A$1623)=0),$A$2:$A$1623),"")

Copy down as far as needed

Tried the 'advanced filter' several times and also got duplicates (not always the same pair)
No logical answer Yet ?????
MS algorithm quirk ???
Compared with attached VBA/Macro (somewhat faster than messy formula).

Great thankyou that remove duplicates option, i didn't notice was there does the trick along with the IFERROR look, very odd how Unique records method fails
