Skip Cells While Formula is Dragged

    Hi,

I am looking for a way to drag a formula from a reference in another Tab on the same Spreadsheet. I have Data starting in Cell A4, then I need to skip A5 and then get data from A6 and skip A7 and get data from A8 and so on. Also, need to do the same horizontally, Like start the data from A1, skip B1, and get C1 and so on. Any help would be great!

Edit: Attached the file. I am trying to get the data from Lines Tab into the Data Tab. If you see the file, in the data Tab, the data is coming from Lines Tab, E4 into F6, then I calculate F4 of Lines in G6 and H6 in Data Tab. Now I need the data from G4 in Lines Tab in J6 and so forth. You can look at the sheet for better understanding. Thanks!

    Thanks Abrar.

Tell us the names of your sheets, otherwise any formula that we give you would have to be guesswork.

P.S. You can use INDEX for this.

I'd recommend uploading sample workbook with source data and few lines of manually constructed desired result.

Typically this sort of operation can be done using INDEX(DataRange,Row#,Column#).

Think about index, row, column functions
The other way is use text in a1 '=Sheet1!A4 and in a2 '=Sheet1!A6, select both, Fill series and use replace (ctrl+h) for delete '
    its work with rows only
