    Rank of Wins/Losses

    Morning,

I am trying to create a ranking of Wins and Losses for different companies in our portfolio. I've attached an example. In my original worksheet, Columns C-G have countif formulas attached to them.

Columns H and I are the ones I'm having issues with in terms of Ranking the order of RFPs and Wins.

When I try to sort in my spreadsheet, it moves everything all around and in to incorrect cells, rankings, etc. However, when I "killed" the columns C-G formulas, the rankings worked fine (i.e - my attached excel sheet).

Can I rank columns H and I, if I have formulas in other columns?

    Thanks,

    Re: Rank of Wins/Losses

    Hello,

I am not understanding how the rankings work but I mocked up a slightly different scenario based on wins and losses percentage rankings.

    I hope this helps

Crazyeddie - please outline the solution given in the post, NOT just in an attachment. You have been asked for this before recently - please give more detail. We need the solution to be accessible to all, not those just able or willing to download a workbook. Thanks for your co-operation.

I wasn't sure if this was what the user wanted. I will not offer my assistance further since my type of help has not been appropriate.

    Sincerely,

Thank you for the response, however, in my spreadsheet I have formulas (I can't show those in here as they wouldn't transfer). I need to be able to sort Columns J and K. Is this not happening accurately because I have active formulas looking into other sheets, or are there other reasons?

    Thanks in advance.

You were simply asked to outline the solution offered in your post for the benefit of all. Nobody said (or implied) that your help is inappropriate, just that we expect details in the post.

@RO2 - what do you mean about the formulae not transfering? We really need to see them if we are to work out a solution for you.
