Condional formatting Formula

I can never get this to work
if column D = 0 I want column E and F to change colour (white so it appears to be blank

Try in conditional formatting (CF)

=$D2=0
Font colour -- white
Applies to =$E$2:$F$11

Also, in Col. F your formula could read
=IF(D2=0,"",D2*E2)

And you wouldn't need any CF for Col. F

I agree, if you adjust teh formula, you wont need CF .
