    accruing vacation annually in Excel

    I need help with a formula to accrue vacation time. Post number 1297748-pto-accrual-formula was somewhat helpful to me. However, I need for the accrued vacation to become available on the employee's anniversary date.

    Vacation earned for 1-7 years = 80 hours, 8+ = 120 hours

    Can anyone assist me with this?

    Here is a sample spreadsheet. I'm trying to get "Hours Accrued" to automatically populate on their anniversary date.

    Seems like all you need is:

    since DATEDIF automatically rounds down.

    That will populate the correct amount of hours based on hire date, but is there a way to get it to populate on their anniversary date instead of immediately? So if I have an employee whose anniversary is March 5, those hours won't populate into the Hours Accrued column until March 5.

    For cell O7 try: =IF(DATE(A6,MONTH(B5),DAY(B5))<=TODAY(),LOOKUP(DATEDIF(B5,S$1,"y"),{0,1,7},{0,80,120}),0)
