    Calculating Max Consecutive Wins

Hello all! I am trying to find the formula to calculate consecutive wins from my journal spreadsheet in cell "L" onto my Overview spreadsheet in cell "N 12". I don't do much excel formulas so I would need to understand how to enter this so it calculates from one sheet onto another sheet. I have attached 2 pics to explain and also the journal. I do appreciate all the help. Thanks!

    Using your posted workbook...

This ARRAY FORMULA, completed by holding down CTRL and SHIFT when you press ENTER (instead of just pressing ENTER)
returns the maximum number of consecutive Wins

and this ARRAY FORMULA returns the maximum count of consecutive losses

Is that something you can work with?

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

    Re: Calculating Max Consecutive Wins

    Hi all!

It's an old thread but for me this topic is still actual.

The formula of Ron Coderre was very helpful. Thanks for that!

My question is, how can I add an additional criteria to this formula?
For example: in cell K12 there are "Long" and "Short".

The formula should only calculate consecutive WIN/LOSS when cell K12 contains "Short".

    Thanks for any help!
