I have e data files I am interrogating via one query workbook ((attached). Issue is that I am looking for a “job number” which may legitimately be duplicated - running the query will only ever bring back first instance of the job number which may not be the one I want. Is it possible to skip to next instance of that job number within the query? I cannot think of a way of doing this. For example same job no. May be used for an install at no’s. 20, 22 & 24 Any street. My search will usually only find first record which is often no. 20. But I want the rec for no. 24. I can and have isolated house no and know next row with that job no and can hyperlink to it in data file but no option in the query workbook to skip on to next record with same job no. If anyone has any bright ideas let me know. I guess it may need vba or some such but I am not that good. Each instance of the job no would return different meter details so that is why I am looking for a solution for others to use. I just flag it as a warning at the moment. If job no is unique no problems but if not doesn’t really work. See attached file and formulas (all lookup pretty much) and tell me if I could tackle this another way. Good luck! Sorry, telling me file won’t upload but if anyone has any basic comments let me know. Basic principle is you enter job no and it goes off to retrieve info but only ever pulls back first instance of that job no.
