find value of cell after finding value of a variable in another cell

I am going to try to be a little more precise on what I am doing here. Sorry for any confusion!

I'm trying to create vba that after a cell is found containing a var; find the value of another cell that is in the cell position 2 columns to the left. I just can't get what I want into vba! TIA

I have a range of cells; Y32:Y57; that contain numbers that are results of formulas. I find the top 5 highest numbers that will become my reference cells. I already have this part figured out.

I also need to know their address; absolute. I am only looking for the top 5(highest) numbers of which there could be more than 1; eg 9,7,7,6,6.

Once that is done, I have another range of cells;W32:W57. I need to get that value, not the address, and set it as another variable that I have dimmed. Basically, say, 9 is in Y34, I need the value of W34 and set it as a variable.

Is this even possible?
