vlookup - sheet of table array from a cell

I would like to build a vlookup-formula on such a was that the name of sheet where the name of the table array-sheet comes from a value of a cell.
The reason why is that I have two sheets with the same structure, but different names (of course), and on the result-sheet I have the a column (a1) that contains the name of the sheet (sample1 or sample2) where the valued is to be searched.

=VLOOKUP(B1,sample1!D3:E6,2,0)
In the the result-sheet I have the a column (a1) that contains the name of the sheet (sample1 or sample2) where the valued is to be searched.

I want the string"sample1" to be replaced by"sample2" in the formula according the value of A. I tried to concatenate-t it, but didn't work out.
I would appreciate some advice.
