Want to display current date if a cell is empty

I have to keep records of when job tasks are complete. If they are done put in a date. But if they are not complete they have a blank space and I want the current date to be displayed there as I will need it for some other statistical data my boss wants me to track. the list has around 4700 lines entered so far.Excel level - Beginner

    Thanks in advance.

Right Click on the sheet name at the bottom of excel and paste this code into the module that opens and close it.
