Tenure with Months shown as .01 TO .11 to represent 1 TO 11 MONTHS

Hello, I need to calculate average tenure for employees, but would like the months shows as .01 to .11 to represent 1 to 11 months in the file. My ADP HRIS system spits out the result, but doesn't show how it was calculated. Example attached. Any help is appreciated.

How do you count months? Sometimes you count the leftover days as an extra month, sometimes not.

    10/10/2016 3/25/2020 3.05
this is 3 years, 5 months, and 15 days, and you ignore the extra days and call it 3 years 5 months

    09/01/2017 3/25/2020 2.07
this is 2 years, 6 months, and 24 days, you count the extra days as another month

If you count only complete months, this formula is what you want, but it doesn't match your data.

Actually my formula rounds down. If you need something different let me know. You can either round to the nearest month, or round up.
