    =vlookup in formatted text

I am trying to return a value from a =vlookup where the array has some lines with spaces. It is easy the other way using trim. I've attached a sample.

    Thanks

    Please try at F4
    =VLOOKUP("*"&E4,$B$4:$C$9,2,FALSE)

But better approach is to clean data from Column B.

I usually would clean up the data but it is an automated dump from MSP with numerous different indents.

You solution is exactly what I needed. Thank you.
