How do you want them shown? A separate list? or just highlight the ones that are not in List 2?

sohaila please update your profile. The format of the file you've uploaded is from a newer version than Excel 2003. Members consider this when offering solutions.

Hi Dave,
I put a "300" in A8 and ran your formula against the new List1. I'm thinking it should show 300 twice for the answer. I wonder if your answer is acceptable for the OP? I used the formula in post 7 above.

Yeah I wasn't altogether confident I had interpreted instructions correctly either. So I did 'wait-and-see' too.
