Sum, count, avg, max, min for range within columns of different lengths

    Hello,

I'm including a sample file to illustrate what I need. The formulas in rows 26 to 30 need to calculate the quantities in the salary columns. I want to enter the formulas in the first salary column and then copy them over to the other columns. Rows 23-25 already have functions in them.

    The calculations are as follow:

row 26: will sum the quantities in the column but exclude the number of cells stated in row 25 from the top of the set and the bottom of the set . Each column has a different amount of rows with data. (So this will sum the cells from the yellow cell at the top of the column to the bottom yellow cell.) (Workbook will not have yellow cells, this is for illustration only, although if it could be highlighted through a function it would be fantastic.)

row 27:is a count of the range summed in row 26

row 28: is the highest amount in that range

row 29: is the lowest amount in the range summed in row 26

row 30: is the average of that range

I hope someone can help. Please

    @Pandrade

You succeeded in ignoring three forum rules in the three threads you started! Might I suggest you read the forum rules (which you agreed to abide by when signing up) as I already suggested in one of your previous threads? They are not many and easy to follow/understand.
Be aware that persisting in this behaviour might get your posting privileges temporarily/definitively revoked.

Please acknowledge you have read and understood the forum rules

    Thank you .

    Hello Pepe Le Mokko,

I read the forum rules. There is just one thing, I don't think I posted code. If you could clarify that, it would be helpful. I will modify the thread title for this post.

    Thanks

Where did Pepe mention code? He said you had managed to break three forum rules in three threads, but he did not specify which three!

Please confirm not just that you have read the rules, but that you have understood them, Thanks.

    Harrisonland,

Your formulas work perfectly! Thanks a bunch. Tried to add reputation but got message that I must spread the reputation around. Will add when possible. For now thank you!
