Formula to Incorporate PayPal Charges into a Final Price

I am looking to make an excel sheet to perform incorporating pay pal charges into the final price.
basically if I want to charge £200.00 then incorporate the appropriate charges so I end up with £200.00
There are plenty of on line examples look at this one( topfreelancer.co.uk/tools/paypal-fee-calculator.html )
I have tried a few methods to replicate this with excel but fail every time to resolve the correct amount.
Need pointing in the right direction.
Want it in excel as not always internet connection available.

Hi,
I would suggest the title "How to calculate fees amount based on given Fee percentage and Fixed charge amount"

Here is the file simulating the online calculator.
Ofcourse you should fill in the fee percentage in A2 and Fixed Fee amount in A4, and the amount that buyer sends in A6.

Just looked. yes that takes it off but you would only receive £193.00

What I am looking for is to add. so price = £200.00 add an amount so that when the fees are deducted you will receive £200.00

I have been trying for ages. there are websites that will do it but I want to do it on excel ( times of no internet access )

In that case you will just have to add the total charges to the original amount charged from supplier.

In order to receive 200 GBP you will need to charge your supplier with 207 GBP.

This is where I got to, so £207.00 X 3.4% = £7.04 + £0.20 fixed fee = £7.24 £200.00 - £7.24 = £192.76

Look at this website clothnappytree.com/ppcalculator it works there I just cant figure it out for excel

Hi,
I understand what you mean, here is the correct calculation. In order to find the amount your supplier should forward you need to add 0.2 to the desired amount (200 GBP) and divide the result by (100%-3.4%)

(200+0.2)/96.6%

Finally you have given me the bit that I was missing [ divide the result by (100%-3.4%) ]
I have been looking at this for Days off and on, it seemed the more I looked the further away it got.
