Calculate last work day minus N without using workday function

    Hello @All.
It's been a while that I use Excel but this issue is actually more for SharePoint but it uses most of Excel's functions.

So SharePoint doesn't have a function called WORKDAY so I need to find the day which corresponds to the selected workday. I am able to go forward and figure out the correct workday, but when I go backwards from last work day it doesn't seem to co-operate with me. For instance, if I select "WD-2" my initial beginning of the month is "5/1/2020" and my expected WD-2 date should be "5/27/2020". If I select "WD-4" my expected result is "5/25/2020".

I've attached an excel file (as the formula is rather long) with two key cells highlighted. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

SharePoint is not a version of Excel - it's a method of storage and retrieval.

When using SharePoint, you have the option to work on a file in the browser interface, which has some limitations, as you suggest. However, you can also open any workbook in the desktop app, which does not have the limitations.

Having said this, I fond it hard to believe that the WORKDAY function would not work in the browser version ... Maybe it uses WORKDAY.INTL instead?

Re: Calculate last work day minus N without using workday function

    Hi AliGW,
Sorry, sorry for the misinformation. I'm using Excel as a means to building a calculated column within SharePoint (which does not have WORKDAY functions). Once the formula work as intended I can implement that within a SharePoint list.

The only issue I'm currently running into is fine-tuning the logic for it to calculate the correct values. Hope that was a bit more clearly defined.
