Hi all,
I am trying to figure out how to use the IF formula for a case. But I think I am using the wrong formula at the moment... Hopefully someone can help. The figure attached shows the issue.
Thanks in advance!

Not yet. He is also given the value of three.
I have attached the excel file. (Forgot it in the first post, sorry).
my formula gives identical results to your test data in column J when filled down
can you give me an example that does not work so I can see what I am missing?
Will this work for you?
=COUNTIF(B3:G3,"<150")+I3-1

Yes this one is working, I have added the "=" before 150.
--> =COUNTIF(B3:G3,"<=150")+I3-1
Otherwise the value in J4 wasn't correct. Thank you FDibbins. I going to search some more information about the COUNTIF function, I am not very familair with it.
The example gave the wrong value at colum J.
I have used the formula what is given below in this thread, but thank you for the help Scottiex
