N/A error when using format control with index/match

    Hi guys,

I am using format control see my first tab and when selecting a company name, i am not seeing the company name returning in cell C2 on the Dashboard (main tab). I am sure there is an index match issue but tried a few things to no avail. Once I can fix the company name being returned the other data will be a pull down so it's fine.

    Please can anyone help>

Re: N/A error when using format control with index/match

    Please try at E2
    =IFNA(INDEX('Client Data'!$A$3:$R$14,Lists!$B$2,MATCH(D2,'Client Data'!$A$2:$P$2,)),"")

Link cell already return index row at Lists!$B$2, No need to use Match

    You may replace Lists!$B$2 with MATCH(INDEX(Lists!$A$4:$A$15,Lists!$B$2),'Client Data'!$A$3:$A$14,)

Re: N/A error when using format control with index/match

    Hi Bo_Ry

    Thank you for this.

I am having an issue with the Client Data tab (see Cells E10 and K10). These cells are 'Brand Reviews' - E3 and K3 column headers.

However when I select COMPANY 8 using the format control on the dashboard tab, the Brand Review results returning are both the same word..... it is not distinguisihing the two. Why is this? I changed the formula to ensure one is for D7 and F5.

    Please advise. Thank you

Exact match order is from left to right. You need to put some space to differentiate the 2 same words.
Eg. remove S, from Brand ReviewS
