Dear all - HELP!
I have a list of dates in Excel
Can any of you help me out with a formula to return TRUE / FALSE if a date is less that today.
I have tried looking on google but the nearest I can find are to do with conditional formatting

@Erwin, I got the same error first but when I added the = sign and the cell reference with the $ it accepted it.
The error occurs when you include the greater than sign without a clear indication that it concerns a formula, even if it is in code blocks. See my post answer

It's a good one , the result is the same, unless the OP has empty cells that you'll vane to include a check for empty cells

Having said that, and despite my formula, I would think "any date less than today" would be a date in the future, as in: any date younger than today.....
