    # of days in a pay-period based on qualifying dates

    Hello,

First time posting, hoping to get answer

I have set of qualifying dates for few states and a pay-period with its own set of dates.

I need to find number of days within the pay-period for each states based on qualifying dates. # of days in Pay-period cannot exceed more than 10 days.

    Please see attachment, Thank you

OK, and can you expalin how do you get to 10 days in G2? What did you do to get to 10? I'm still not sure that the goal is understood.

    Thanks.

So the pay period dates falls within CA qualifying dates. If you exclude weekend in the pay period qualifying days would be 10 day. Hope this helps. Thank you

    Try This:
    =IF(NETWORKDAYS(IF(E7>B7,E7,B7),IF(F7<C7,F7,C7))<0,0,NETWORKDAYS(IF(E7>B7,E7,B7),IF(F7<C7,F7,C7)))
