STDEV formula issue in Power Query Table

I have a query from the web automatically loaded daily into a worksheet as a table.

Within the table, I have a column of numbers for which I'd like the standard deviation for all numbers in that column.

    I'm using =STDEV.S($A$2:$A$5) the result I get is #DIV/0!

I have tried entering this formula using both the CTL+SHIFT+ENTER and then simply ENTER key. Both return the same resut.

    Any ideas?

The numbers are just text that look like numbers. Select the range and use the automatic correction offered to convert them to numbers.
