Check for letters or dash within cell using formulas

Hello everyone
I can check if the cell contains a dash or not using this formula

How can I check if the cell contains any letter within it?
Some inputs have numbers with periods (that is OK .. ) and some inputs are letters and some inputs are letters mixed with dashes
I need to check if the cell contains any letter or dash

Lets try easier (and probably quicker) method.
So basically, you expect digits, dashes and periods. May be try removing dashes and periods, forcing conversion to number, and check if the result is a number:
