Use conditional formatting on cells that contain a formula

Is is possible to use conditional formatting on cells that contain a formula? I do not need to format based on the IFFORMULA, I KNOW there are formulas there, what I want is to conditional formal based on the result of the formula in the cell. For example, cell E = C/D. If the result of the formula is > 50.00% then fill cell E red, etc.

If someone knows a way to get this done, THANK YOU and please share.

Re: Use conditional formatting on cells that contain a formula

Sorry folks, brain fart, easiest solution was right in front of me, but I overlooked it. I used the same formula in the conditional format formula that I do in the cells for col e and it works fine.
