VLOOKUP to bring back values & formatiing

Hi all,

Very much just throwing sh*t at a wall and hoping it sticks with this one.

I'm wanting to do a VLOOKUP to bring back information from another sheet to produce a dashboard looking sheet.
I have conditional formatting on the array I'm looking from, and I'd like to bring that with the VLOOKUP, without applying a new set of rules to the new sheet.
The reason I want to avoid applying a new set of rules is that I'm bringing back results of formula that use cells that won't be on the dashboard, and it's making my head spin a little trying to work out how to circumvent the issue.

Is this even possible?

Thanks.

Nice turn of phrase

Probably not. VLOOKUP will bring the data, not the formatting.

Would there be another function that might do this?
Either that or potentially a function within VBA?

vlookup will bring back the info you want, I dont see a problem there, but formulas dont generally "see" formatting. Perhaps you could use the same CF rule in the destination cell tough?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
