    Conditional format issue

I am trying to figure out a conditional format issue, I cant find a solution
I have a sheet with multiple columns, each cell have a formula that will insert dat into that cell, I need a conditional format that o can put into the cells a1:a300 that will turn them red if there are any cells in the ranges C3:C300, D3:d300, G3;G300, H3:H300, K3;K300, L3:l300 and O3:300 that do not have data in them (apart from the formula)

Thank you in advance for any help

    Re: Conditional format issue

    Welcome to the forum.

With no data in C/D/G/H/K/L/O do the cells appear blank?
If so, then use this as your formula for column A:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Apply it to the range A3:A300 with red fill. Don't worry about the formula only mentioning row 3; Excel will automatically (invisibly) interpret the formula with the correct row number.

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.

    Re: Conditional format issue

    You're welcome.
As you've only recently joined, you may not know that you can mark the thread as Solved if you're happy that your original question has been taken care of, so others know there's an answer here. Instructions to do it are in my sig - if you could take a moment to do it, that would be appreciated. Thanks.
