    UK Style Bingo Cards

Hi all l, I've been trying to create some UK rules bingo cards to play with the family during lockdown but have failed.

Does anyone have any experience in generating such a thing in Excel and if so wonder if you could help me produce it.

A UK rules bingo card consists of 6 tickets wi5h each ticket consisting of 9 columns and 3 rows. Each row in a ticket must have 5 numbers and 4 blank cells. Each column in a ticket must have a minimum of 1 number and maximum of 3 numbers. Column 1 only holds numbers 1 to 9, column 2 is 11 to 20 and so on until column 9 is 80 to 90.

Every number from 1 to 90 should appear once and only once across the 6 tickets that make up 1 game with no duplicates and no missing numbers.

I've attached a copy of a ticket which shows the rules I have stated above. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

There's a bit of code here: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.p...ds-using-Macro that should get you what you need.
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1

Many thanks. I hadn't seen this code previously. Looks fairly close although there is a couple of issue with this solution that within each 3 row ticket it does leave some columns blank at times which is incorrect and does not ensure that each row consists of 5 numbers and 4 empty cells. There should always be at least 1 number per column per ticket. Unfortunately my VBA is not good enough to resolve

After much plagiarising, of code snippets 90% of the way there.
I had to give up on the only one of each number - no duplicates over six tickets.
I have had to give up as I 'cannot see the wood for the trees' no doubt a guru will give us a 'one liner' to complete the project.

Haven't got the time to go through entire logic.

But I'd imagine you can use Scripting.Dictionary to hold numbers 1 to 90 and then use .Remove to get rid of already assigned number.
