Lookup function with data below

Hi guys

I have company names in column A and a table below for each month. First example is Jan 18. How do I perform a lock up in C2 to return the value against the same month (i.e. B2 in the top table and A22 in the bottom table(?

What value do you expected in C2: Total of all companies in Jan (18,222) or in Jan of, .i.e, A company in A2 (3,183)?

I expect the value of the company name, so in this case company A (3,183) - the values are using a RAND function btw, so the figurs might change.

I will sort out the date/layout, just need the starting point of getting the data to match for now
