INDEX & MATCH Formula Doesn't Work

    The formula on the cell D6 on the sheet Aroha v2 should return the intersection value (B) of C5 (A3:A15 on the Sheet Tables) and D5 (B2:G2 on the Sheet Tables) looking up the table on the range A2:G15 on the sheet Tables.

    2nd argument E2 --> 2 Column position 4 (OK)

    3rd argument A10 --> G Row Position 8 (OK)

    The Intersection of these two should have been E10 which is B.

    Why doesn’t it work?

    the 1st MATCH in INDEX/MATCH/MATCH is the row to find, the 2nd MATCH is the column to use. Looks to me you have them the wrong way round.
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
