    Count values in range depending on criteria

    Hi Hope you can help me please.

    I have attached spreadsheet in question.

    I'm trying to create a formula which works out automatically how many accounts met SLA within 24 hours and how many went over 24 hours.

    So i have manually inputted the results in column B and C:

    0 = no issues

    1 = issue

    The issue needs to be resolved the following day, so if 0 appears following day, then i want a count to appear in within 24 hours column.

    If there is another 1 the following day, it means it is over the 24 hours and i would like it added on to the over 24 hours column.

    I just need a formula that will work out how many were resolved within 24 hours, and how many were over 24 hours. Hope this makes sense

    So you would only want one 1 in the over 24 hr columns like in Accounts 13, 14 and 20?

    Yes just one 1 in the over 24 hr for them accounts because it’s the same issue which has continued on to the following days.

    0 = no issues
    1 = issue

    E.g if an account had this - 1, 1, 1, 0 - this would count as 1 and would fall under the over 24hr.

    If an account had this - 0, 0, 1, 0 - this would count as 1 and would fall under the “met within 24 hr”

    If an account was 0,1,1, 0, 1, 0 - this is 2 issues, first one being over 24 hrs, and second issue being within 24 hrs

    Sorry if this sounds confusing, I might have to find another way to enter my data. Thanks for your reply.

    I could be wrong, but I don't think there is a formula that could check for this. I would post this in the VBA/Macro section. Someone could write a set of commands that would be easier than any formula I can think of.
