Hi,
in conditional formatting check "SHOW ICON ONLY"
There is an option in the CF dialog to include just the icon - I think it’s a tick box.

They are there because you have formula that puts them there.
Your formula in I is =IF(H2="In progress",1,IF(H2="Completed",2,IF(H2="Not started",0))) which puts a 1 in the cell. If you don't want the numbers then remove the formula and go with only conditional formatting based upon the same criteria you used to put the numbers there.
