    Question Automatically add a number to the very next column

    I have a work book which contain 2 columns , Monthly and Yearly.
    I want to auto update the yearly column while a value in monthly column entered. Anyone have idea? Please help

    Welcome to the forum.

    There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

    Maybe multiply the monthly column value by 12?

    Just a guess!

    In E4 copied down:

    =D4*12

    No, it won't work. The data in D column will change every month. If 5 in January, 10 will be in February. So your equation will not work.

    OK, so provide a better sample workbook that clearly shows what you want with all the parameters. You are expecting us to know things that you have not told us!!!

    This will require VBA or you will need to retain all months separately/in separate columns
