auto-fill function that references another sheet

Hi,

When I have a list of data in one column, I can start typing in the next row in that column and it will reference previous data written via auto-fill. I am trying to get that same functionality but to reference from a column in another tab.

In the example sheet, the data is in the "dataset" tab. This data will continue to grow over time. In the "Workbook" tab, column A should reference the list in dataset. As I type "Honda" I would like it to auto-fill and continue on. This data will then be used for both vlookup and user entry fields in the columns to right.

I've been googling and can't find any way to do this. Even if its a simple VBA snippet, i'd be very appreciative.

Not quite. I am trying to achieve this without the dropdown list. I want a complete column with that autocomplete ability.
