I am trying to format cells when the month in the date is equal to or grater than the month in todays' date.
I can do it by using month only formula, but then it also highlights the dates in years past. I want to high light only for yeas going forward.
This is the formula i have so far build. But it does not seem to to work.
="(Year($D2)MONTH($D2))=MONTH(TODAY( ))"

Months that are still to occur. My spreadsheets looks at dates in he future and in the past. But when i use a formula that looks at eh months, it also highlights months in the past years.
So why are you not just simply looking at dates in the future? I don’t get the reason why you are using months at all.
Maybe this?
=D2>EOMONTH(TODAY(),0)
That is what I initially thought as well, but our production teams look at exact dates, but the accountants go by month, even if the days have already past.
Maybe this, then:
=D2>EOMONTH(TODAY(),-1)+1
This will highlight any date this month and beyond. Today it will include June, tomorrow it won’t.
