Making the last part of this INDIRECT formula as relative

    Hi all,

I'm using this formula on a worksheet: =INDIRECT("'"&$AB$2&"'!A1")

Basically it is pulling data from another worksheet in that same workbook. The $AB$2 refers to the cell where there is a drop down list. The A1 refers to the cell in that worksheet where the data is found. However when I drag the formula across, the A1 stays as A1...I'd like it to change to B1, C1 and so on.
How to I modify this formula?

Re: Making the last part of this INDIRECT formula as relative

It seems that 1 in the formula need to change to a 2 and so on when I drag the formula downwards for it to work. Is there a way to configure the formula for that to work both across and down?

May be change the last part of the formula to 1 instead of 4 and confirm.
