    vlookup and match gremlin

    Hi lovely forum,

I have vertical column list with descriptors in column B on the config tab.

Against these descriptors are certain tasks which also relate to these.

On the data input tab I have attemped to do (wrongly) a vlookup match for these.

What I would like assistance with is a conditionally formatted cell of amber colour which shows up against the corresponding input of 1 on the config tab.

    Hope that makes sense?

    Thanks in advance

The formula in D2 should be
    =VLOOKUP($B2,'Config 1'!$B$2:$AP$40,MATCH(D$1,'Config 1'!$B$1:$AP$1,0),FALSE)
    Then you can use
=D2=1 as the formula for the condition format.
