Extract Data to make a list

Hi Excel enthusiast.

Appreciate if you can help me with this simple thing.

I have quite numerous list data, what I want to do is to summarize the list of certain data based on its category. Here is the picture I attached to make it more clear.

So its like extract from raw data to make it a drop down list in the future.

...and whilst you're uploading the workbook try experimenting with a pivot table. First add an extra column to your table with a function that displays the first letter of the word.
