Hello,
I have a simple issue. I am looking for a sum formula that will sum a cell if it is a certain color. Does anyone know of a formula for that? looking for a formula not using the Ktools feature - just input formula and drag down. Thanks

Colour isn't data, so, no simple formula. You can use a VBA User Defined Function, but that's the only way I know of doing it.

From a database perspective, just assign 0/1 or whatever to a separate column.
The data looks cleaner and data management, analyses etc. are so much simpler.
E.g. if a different user is using a different color palette, the cell colors will look different for him/her, so number crunching based on formatting is usually a road to disaster.
Thanks, going to ignore the sum if color for now and mark this solved.
You're welcome.
