What is the formula behind NORM.S.DIST(x,TRUE) function?

    Hi,

what is the 'real' formula of norm.s.dist(x,TRUE) ?

on the microsoft help page I can only find the formula for norm.s.dist(WRONG)
The given example there: =NORM.S.DIST(1.333333,TRUE) Example: 0.908788726 (description: Normal cumulative distribution function at 1.333333)

Could someone please let me know how I can calculate the 0,908.. on my own?

    Thanks in advance,

Wikipedia has a better discussion than Microsoft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal...ution_function

Basically, the cumulative distribution function (CDF) is the definite integral of the probability density function (PDF) from negative infinity to x. Wikipedia talks about some of the ways this integral can be calculated, or you can use your favorite algorithm for numerical integration on the PDF.
