Hi all,
I have a sheet of names and scores, and then a formula that list those names and the totals of those scores. How can I move these totals and reference this sheet if it's closed. I've been trying to use SumProduct without much luck. I have attached the sheet and highlighted in green the info I want to save in a separate workbook.

In your file you have not used Sumproduct(). You used Sumif() which won't work with closed workbook.
Use Sumproduct() which works with closed workbooks.
I tested your file with the below formula and its getting the desired results.
