Hello - I'm having trouble referencing two sets of criteria to sum data that meets both criteria. I attached a sample worksheet.
I have one data set that shows actual units for each county in California.
I have another data set that shows which counties belong in which MSA.
My desired result is to show the total units per MSA.

How about
=SUM(SUMIFS($C$3:$C$60,$B$3:$B$60,IF(H3=$E$3:$E$60,$F$3:$F$60,0)))
But the Counties in col F have a space after them, which you will need to remove
Please try at I4
=SUMPRODUCT(SUMIFS($C$4:$C$54,$B$4:$B$54,TRIM($F$4:$F$61)&REPT(0,$E$4:$E$61<>H4)))
