Formula to Count Hours In Different Bracket - Timesheet Calculation

Hi,

I've spent hours trying to work this out ...

We have 4 brackets for determining pay rate. 17:00 to 00:00, 00:00 to 06:00, 06:00 to 08:00 and 08:00 to 17:00

depending on the contract, the day and the type of work depends on the pay rate, so i am looking to just calculate the hours out that fall within each of these ranges based on a start time and end time.

I get to a point that i think i have cracked it, but then try a time range and it throws it all out!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I include the workings i have so far!

It may be more helpful to show the values that you want to see rather than the values the formulas are yielding which are assumed to be incorrect.
