Question Grabbing data from an adjacent column if data in first column matches a value?

The screenshot below is a sample set of data on a second worksheet of a XLS file. In the first sheet I want to create a formula that will return the result of column C's value if the value in column A equals 135 for example. The values in column A are always going to be the same for the template I create so those values always stay the same when I call them. It is the dollar amounts that change depending on how the report is ran so I need to be able to dynamically call what is in column C.

The row number can change depending on the report date... which is why I am trying to grab the adjacent column data from where it finds the data in column A. Hope that makes sense.

    How would I write this?

Sounds like you need to use VLOOKUP. Something like
    Formula: copy to clipboard
