Question Conditional Formatting Based on Date Ranges

Hi, I have a few columns with dates that I need to add formatting to so they are Red/Green based on their relation.

If Col.A has a date in it, I need it to light up red if it is passed the date on Col.2

ON the flip side, if Col.A date has not passed the date in Col.B, I need it green.

Can this be easily achieved?

Cheers

Re: Conditional Formatting Based on Date Ranges

Always better if you provide a sample WB for us to play with

If you are familiar with how to add CF rules...
=A2>B2 format fill RED
2nd rule
=A2<B2 format fill GREEN
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

I did try to upload a sample. However, it wasn't allowing me.

I currently have done this;

=IF(T11>W11,"Behind Target","On Track") and then applied CF to the column for Red on Behind and Green for On Track.

I may just run with that.

Re: Conditional Formatting Based on Date Ranges

So value of the cell (assum cell Z11) is either "Behind Target" or "On Track"?
Try:
1st
=Z11="Behind Target" (for Red format)
2nd
=Z11="On Track" (for Green Format)
