Formating Dates and capital letters in the First Letter of the Month

    Hi Everyone,
In the sheet what I would like is to know (date) when the person of A, B, C, ....... pay the ammount that have to pay. For example for Person A:

    He stars in 2019 (credit of -0,52€ - "D6", then he must pay (1ºT - "G6" / 646,96 €, then 2ºT "J6" / 808,00 € - 3ºT "M8" / 808,00 €- 4ºT "P8" / 808,00 €)
The payments (dates and ammount are in Collunns "E" and "F", "H" and "I", "K" and "L", "N" and "O".
In Collunns "S";"T"; "U" and "V" I have a formula to give me the date of the respective payment (1ºT-2ºT-3ºT-4ºT)

WHat I would like to know is:

1 - Why don't appear the date in the collunns in wellow (They had pay the total ammount!) ???
2 - How can the Date appears with the First Letter of the month in Capital Letters ???

    Thank you very much

    Hi Vinhas

1 - You must round your data. For example, M19 is not 0,00€ but 0,00009911 €.

2 - I suppose you have to use text functions like this to write, e.g., E7 in that format.
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Note: With the novo acordo, month names are written in lowercase.

In the impossibility of using your sheet, due to the linked data, I used a new sheet, where I put the rounded data to two decimal places.
I also used the simple IF function since I don't have the version of your Excel.
    See the file to clarify.

Re: Formating Dates and capital letters in the First Letter of the Month

    hi,
Thank you again for your help.
    1 - If is possible I would like to know how can I combine the "ARRED" in the formula for example in "M9" - =+(D6+G6+J6+M6)-G7-J7-M7-P7;
2 - It is possible combine in "S6" where I have a big formula with your formula in "x6" ??
    thanks

    Hi Vinhas

    1 - You can use =ROUND(your formula,2), i.e. =ROUND(D6+G6+J6+M6-G7-J7-M7-P7,2)

2 - It is possible but each time that the reference X6 appears in formula X6, formula S6 would have to be repeated. In this case, as we use the reference S6 4 times, the formula S6 would be embedded 4 times (these 4 times would be executed) within the formula in X6.

Re: Formating Dates and capital letters in the First Letter of the Month

thank you very much..... SOLVED !!

Anyway about my first question and about the first sheet i put , ....... "1 - Why don't appear the date in the collunns in wellow (They had pay the total ammount!) ???

I think is the problem of "ROUND" . I change it as you tell me but the date don't appears. Example: "M19" = 0 (pay total) in "U16" must appear a date but don't ! You Know Why ???

Re: Formating Dates and capital letters in the First Letter of the Month

    Hi Vinhas

    See the value of = G16 + D16 + J16 + M16 which is 2349,73009910651

    This value is not greater less or equal to = F17 + F18 + F19 + F20 + I17 + I18 + I19 + I20 + L17 which is 2349.73.

So, if you use = ROUND (G16 + D16 + J16 + M16,2) you get the value 2349.73 which is the same and therefore your formula will return the value of K16, as intended.

Re: Formating Dates and capital letters in the First Letter of the Month

HI and thanks for your time and help.

I think I understand whats the problem.... I change every formulas as you tell me....

    Anyway In "D16" / "G16" / "J16" and "M16" I have a formula with ("Índice" + "Corresp") and I need to add with "ARRED".

SO, the problem is if is possible to make the same formula and add the "ARRED" in the same.

For example the formula in: "D16" is: =ÍNDICE(GERAL!$G$8:$G$31;CORRESP('RESUMO GERAL'!$C16;GERAL!$D$8:$D$31;0)) ------ How and where can I put the "ARRED" in there !!

Sorry for all this, many thanks
